Description: Our client is currently seeking a Software Engineer in Test
Responsibilities:
Build relationships with development and business partners to achieve trust and detailed understanding of team objectives. Understand and champion quality values and ensure those values are included in every "definition of done". Identify efficient automation methodologies and collaborate with the team to ensure they are developed from the beginning of the project. Analyze and understand requirements and business needs to find issues before test execution begins. You will ensure the highest product quality and end user satisfaction through this analysis and construction of automated testing.
Qualifications:
Experience in Agile methodologies.
Confidence to champion quality engineering.
Communication skills that prioritize collaboration over conflict.
Proven understanding of Agile to provide constructive feedback to improve sprint deliveries.
Proven experience with requirement analysis, defect tracking, coordinating with team members in different locations, and test reporting and signoff.
Strong analytical and technical skills to handle sophisticated issues.
Ability to perform root cause analysis on defects.
High level of dedication, initiative, vision, and passion.
The Skills that you should have for this role:
Experience in test automation using an established framework like Java and Selenium
Cypress Testing experience for UI/Browser testing
Ability to adapt to new environments and learn in-house developed tools and practices
Integration testing between multiple independent systems using interfaces such as flat files and APIs
Relational database experience
Jira and Xray a plus
AWS experience would be useful to have

Safety is our top priority. Once we can be together in person with fewer safety measures, this role will be moved to our dynamic working approach. You'll be spending some of your time onsite depending on the nature and needs of your role.
Skills:
API Testing capabilities and UI testing. Specific UI testing tool they are using is Cypress.
Using Java and selenium will be the bulk of the role.
A nice to have is: Data Testing experience or ETL Testing
