We are looking for talented candidates to support our Patient Care Services department as a Patient Care Assistant.
The Patient Care Assistant provides supportive services to the patients and units as directed by the nursing staff and health unit coordinators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transports patients to affiliate-Mass. General (direct connecting tunnel access)
- Taking patient's vital signs; assist patient with dressing/undressing; also responsible for grooming, bathing and cream/scar massage as appropriate to the patient
- Assist nursing staff with patient feedings
- Ensuring each unit is well stocked with the needed supplies daily
- Cleans and prepares reusable patient items and equipment
- Transports specimens to hospital laboratories
- Transports patients to affiliate-MGH (direct connecting tunnel access)
- Back up to the Health Unit Coordinator; assisting with telephone coverage as needed
· High School graduate or equivalent. Certified Nursing Certification is required.
· Previous pediatric experience in a hospital or medical setting required.

This is a full-time weekday position.
High School graduate or equivalent. Certified Nursing Certification is required.
