Position: Site Observer
Location: Gardner, MA
Shift: Flexible, Various Shifts
Duration: 7 Months
Start: ASAP
This role will be trained to understanding the procedures associated with observing a patients in the collection of specimens. Candidate will engage with the patient, educate them on the process and talk them through how to do collection. There must be an emphasis to ensure that all safety protocols are followed from the time the swab is handed to the patient until the sample is secured in the tube and sealed into a transport bag or tested on site.
Job Details
- Escort and prepare patients for examinations
- Obtain vital signs and medical history
- Family Practice/Internal Medicine experience preferred
- Perform standard diagnostic procedures including: EKG, Phlebotomy, Venipuncture, PFT, Doppler, Injections and Patient Charting
- EMR experience required
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
- Must have MA certification or MA diploma
