Our client north of Boston is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst for their finance team. This person needs to be self-sufficient and understand revenue/profit analysis.

responsibilities:
- Prepares, analyzes and reviews periodic forecasts, annual budgets, monthly cash flow and multi-year strategic plans
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators; identify opportunities for financial improvement and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
- Complete monthly revenue accrual process enterprise wide
- Knowledge/experience of Revenue Recognition 606 schedules
- Complete adhoc reporting and projects as assigned
- Work cross functionally to drive process improvements and automation
qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- 4-5 years work experience in an FP&A capacity
- Understanding of Microsoft Office and advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Effective communication and organizational skills and the ability to perform a variety of concurrent tasks efficiently
- Experience in the Software/ SaaS industry is a plus
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and to ensure accuracy of reports and data
