Reliability Engineer Job Role Summary:
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for analyzing equipment performance metrics to identify changes required to ensure optimum equipment availability and reliability. The Reliability Engineer works closely with the Facilities staff to improve equipment and systems performance and reliability.
Essential Duties:
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive, predictive and condition-based monitoring maintenance programs to ensure optimum equipment availability and reliability.
• Analyze equipment maintenance history and corrective work orders to identify trends the indicate the need to update preventative maintenance frequency and/or equipment upgrades/replacement.
• Identify and enroll equipment into the spare parts system and determine appropriate inventory levels.
• Partner with the facilities mechanics and calibration technicians to create job plans and develop efficient maintenance schedules to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
• Conduct root cause analysis of repetitive problems and investigate equipment failures to determine the maintenance approach required for the particular situation considering the advantages/impact of costs of alternatives for developing action plans for equipment up/down time.

• Actively participate and provide input for the site's safety program to meet Health and Safety regulations and OSHA requirements in all duties.
Requirements
Qualification:
• BS degree in Engineering, science, or closely related discipline.
• 2 or more years professional experience required in engineering, facilities or operations.
• Must be able use his/her technical background to investigate issues using a structured problem solving approach to determine true root cause and develop effective corrective and preventative actions.
• Must be able to be able to find true root cause and path forward for complex problems.

Computer Skills:
• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).
