Project Manager, Property & Casualty at NTT DATA

Lead complex projects and be accountable for the estimating, planning, scheduling, tracking, management of risk, budget, change management, problem resolution, reporting and communicating
Manage interdependencies within projects
Provide transparency and reporting to overall governance and steering structure
Lead the interaction with business partners, project team members, other IT colleagues, and external vendors to ensure clarity of the business problem, outcome and scope and ensure issues and risks are understood and resolved
Be responsible for building team alignment, encouraging team effort and successes, embracing continuous performance improvement through coaching, modeling the way, and developing followership through your daily interactions with the team
Solicit and apply standards and best practices.
7+ Years of related experience with project & program delivery (waterfall, iterative, hybrid, agile)
Strong Business Acumen - Knowledge of P&C products preferred ideally with Specialty experience and an ability to continuously learn and engage with business partners regarding scope and business value
Strong relationship management skills Ability to effectively collaborate with business & IT partners and to foster strong relationships with them to aid successful project delivery
Strong ability to connect dots and build integrated plans that include business timelines for filings, intersecting IT project timelines and deliverables where dependencies exist, and outside project risks. Someone with an anticipatory mindset rather than a reactionary one.
Bachelor's degree with a preference of technology/computer science field or equivalent work experience.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills.
Strong leadership skills that deliver results and align with our values.
Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Planview, Jira, and/or Leankit.
