Our client is a global, rapidly growing, $2.4 billion industry leading manufacturer/distributor of lab equipment and biotech products. We are currently searching for an Order Processing Specialist. This position is based in the company's Marlborough, MA site. In this role you will be working with customers, ensuring that our products are delivered with accuracy and timeliness. You will be responsible for processing orders, communicating with customers and internal departments to ensure the on-time delivery. Job Description:
- Check contract terms and related documents
- Enter orders, create delivery slips in SAP
- Ensure the order delivery time with internal dept. and plants
- Maintain communication with customers on orders and status
- Communicate with warehouse/plants for shipment alignment
- Handle return shipment from customers
- Process credit/debits relating to order processing
- Provide customer reports as needed
- Maintain customer master data
- Understand and ensure departmental KPI's, objectives and guidelines are followed
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree preferred, or a minimum of 3 years experience in a customer service capacity in a professional business environment
- 3 years working experience in order processing dept., customer service & detail orientated in a non-retail environment
- Good communication across levels and functions
- Logical, self-motivated, energetic, results-oriented, skillful for handling multi-tasks, quick learner, and can work under high pressure
- Good MS Office skills, Word, Excel, PPT is must
- Team player
