The Team

The Lead, Content Services ensures that the Company's U.S. Tower division's financial, legal, and operational content are systematically managed to align with its enterprise content management system and corresponding policies and procedures. The incumbent oversees the accurate identification of content types as well as the naming and uploading of content to enterprise systems and provides to key stakeholders and executive teams quality content reviews and audits. The incumbent assists with leading the development of content management and lifecycle programs, retention policies and procedures, best practices, and training documents for implementation with end users who create, review, update, and delete content.  The incumbent also assists with researching new content management technologies and improves existing processes for more efficient content management.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Apply an understanding of the Company's content systems, policies, and procedures to continuously enhance, automate, and simplify processes, generate innovative ideas, and challenge the status quo to improve content systems' configurations and/or polices/procedures, with a focus on improving effectiveness and efficiencies and reducing costs.
  • Work closely with content owners, business teams, and the IT department as a subject matter expert on content services, best practices, and associated technologies; provide to management and respective stakeholders weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports about production and/or project activities.
  • Work closely with external vendors to maintain onsite and offsite content storage, ensure optimal return on investment for storage by working cross-functionally, and maintain an accurate record of physical and digital content storage.
  • Identify business problems and work with IT and Shared Services employees to research, and provide technology solutions, for implementing resolutions.
  • Supervise and manage third-party contractors to support high work volume as needed. This includes on-boarding and orientation.
  • Work closely with management to create and execute a digital content management strategy which includes adding metadata labels, easing access, and tracking versions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Library Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years content management or change control management experience and strategically managing content systems or information systems required.
  • Experience organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation required.
  • At least 1 year of third-party leadership and vendor management experience preferred.
  • Telecommunications tower industry, operations, leasing, or real estate experience preferred.
  • Able to establish measurable objectives and evaluate outcomes.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Approximately 5% travel may be required to support the position's responsibilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
