Job Description
This position provides support to an Area Sales Manager and nurtures existing business in the defined territory with an emphasis on identifying new clients who are passionate about predicting, preventing and managing heart disease. The Jr. Account Development Specialist will need to be located in Boston, MA or surrounding area.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts as well as drive growth with new account development goals
- Identify account level growth opportunities; sell new tests to existing customers. Call on existing customers to introduce new test offerings.
- Shows an aptitude to be able to convert clients in competitive selling situations. Drives new accounts to become full adopters versus trial dabblers.
- Approaches the management of the territory in an efficient manner. Uses all available resources to grow the business. Builds the business around the local area to ensure an ability to service customers on an ongoing basis.
- Demonstrate and incorporate into daily work knowledge of processes and tools to measure and improve quality
- Exhibit uncompromising integrity and commitment to Boston Heart's Compliance Code of Conduct and business conduct expectations. Actively participate in, support and drive compliance with all Boston Heart policies; and state, federal and regulatory guidelines, standards and laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Sales experience in Biotech, Medical Device, Diagnostic Equipment and/or the Pharmaceutical industry with a focus in the cardiovascular area
