The Opportunity:
Position location - Does not require relocation. Position can be remote-homebased.
The Grid Connection Specialist supports the Project Execution Managers during the execution of power plant projects for renewable energy (wind, solar, hydro, geothermal and biomass) for authorizations and permits for the construction of the grid connection for renewable power plants, through the application of best practices in project management and facilities.
What You'll Do at Enel:
Responsibilities, include, but not limited to:
Support and collaborate with Business Development and Engineering & Construction units during the execution phase of Renewable Projects for authorization and permits for grid connection
Produce guidelines and tools for planning, organizing, executing and controlling the related project activities in order to ensure a detailed and complete knowledge of the local legislation and regulations in terms of grid connection

Support project teams performing risk analysis and defining preventive/corrective actions to be taken with reference to grid connection, in order to keep the projects on schedule
Create and issue periodical reports in order to monitor and control the activities related to grid connection of different projects
Share best practices and lessons learned about grid connection of Power Plants within the Company at local and global audiences
Build and manage relationships with public authorities and external suppliers

Who You Are:
Ability to work under occasional supervision
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively support and work well with people from different disciplines
Superior organizational skills and detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality
Strong client-facing and internal communication skills
Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects
Experience working in a multicultural environment is preferred
Ability to work within a global framework and a matrix organization
Ability to work within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
Fluent in English is required, Spanish and/or Italian is considered a plus
Up to 10% of domestic travel
What You've Accomplished:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
3+ years' experience managing projects in Engineering and/or Construction
Experience using project management tools such as typical Gantt chart, risk assessment, and responsibility matrix
