Engineering Technician at Advantage Resourcing

Perform the  assembly of various components into finished products. 
Will perform complete final testing and documentation on finished products to ensure that they conform to specifications and quality standards.
Assist in developing and maintaining the appropriate build procedures and processes to ensure the final product meets all company and customer specifications.  
This person will participate in the company-wide lean conversion process, which will have an impact on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.  
Candidate must be self-motivated and a team player.  
Analytical and problem-solving skills as well as solid time-management, organizational and multitasking skills are important. 
  • Assembling and Testing product that meets or exceeds our customer's delivery and performance requirements (in adherence to final inspection reports) in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Pull required material and build assemblies in accordance with indicated specifications per standard operating procedures and/or drawings.
  • Work with blueprints, schematics, drawings, and written or verbal instructions to assemble products in a timely manner.
  • Integrate, test and inspect fit and function using precision measuring instruments including but not limited to: micrometer, dial indicator, gages, precision square, scale, level, electronic probe, laser system, and oscilloscope.
  • Test product in accordance with indicated specifications per standard operating procedures and/or drawings.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve build, test, and quality issues.
  • Recommend design improvements for manufacturability using the Engineering Change Request process.
