Position Description:
Data Scientist
Seeking a highly motivated candidate for a six-month contract position. The contractor will closely work with engineers/scientists in Global MS&T Capabilities - Process Monitoring and Analytics to provide data analysis and improve process robustness decision-making.
The contractor will assist in providing data analysis to enable corrective and preventative action decisions for process robustness activities. This will include processing and analyzing data from various data sources, generating dashboards, and presenting the information using a variety of data visualization techniques. The data scientist will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns and improve process robustness decision-making.
Work will be completed using Discoverant, Spotfire/Tableau and SharePoint and will involve working with cross-functional subject matter experts.
Required Skills:
- Experience with data analytics software preferred.
- Software: Microsoft Office, SharePoint, JMP or similar statistical software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations, especially biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations is desired.
- Biologics and Chemical engineering knowledge are preferred.
- Strong data management/manipulation skills.
- Strong communication skills: Oral/Written.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
