Purpose

The Accounting Intern will make meaningful contributions to cash accounting and financial planning functions of the finance department.



Accountabilities

  • Work with team to adhere to the monthly book closing schedule, supporting the processing of journal entries
  • Liaison with the various regions and business units
  • Support preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Allocation of charges among different projects
  • Fixed assets analysis
  • Review and posting of customer payment batches
  • Research and record certain bank activities
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting activities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities to meet deadlines
  • Other related duties and special projects that may be assigned from time to time



Education and Experience

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or related field
  • Aptitude to learn quickly and work in a fast pace entrepreneurial environment with the desire to take on simple and complex tasks
  • Advanced computer skills in Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the confidence to question processes
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to work independently and manage priorities #LI-DS1
