Software Engineer (Responsibilities)
· Develop software alongside 2-6 other engineers, designers, and quality assurance
· Refine requirements with product owners and subject matter experts
· Advise client on appropriate timeline and budget tradeoffs where applicable
· Advise clients on best practices, and advocate for the process from any change that will not improve the level of quality our customers have come to expect.
· Enforce engineering best practices such as test-driven development
· Coach team members in agile processes
· Act as a technical expert during Project Map discovery phases, evaluating technology needs and proposing solutions for clients.
· Work alongside the Project Management team to ensure clients understand the AP process and are active participants within their projects.
Our tech stacks include Spring Boot, Micronaut, .NET Core, React, and Objective-C. However, our clients often come to us with problems that require a variety of languages and frameworks to tackle, so our Team Leads often have to stretch their skills to new areas. We're always looking for insights from developers with different technical backgrounds!
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in at least two of the following areas:
o Frontend web development
o Backend REST API development
o Mobile application development
o Firmware development
· Experience leading teams on medium to large projects
