Senior Accountant – Remote (Hiring Immediately)What's In it For You:- Remote from anywhere in the USA- Flexible hours Monday-Friday (no weekend work)- Pay rate of $40-$50 per hour based on experience- Work for an exciting upstart that recently IPO'd - Really fun company with great colleagues- Laptop provided by the company About the Opportunity:- We have an opportunity for a Senior Accountant with an emphasis on data reconciliation, working for a company that just went public on the NYSE- The company specializes in cloud-based software and point of sale systems for restaurants- This is a 4-6 month contract role that pays in the $40/hr to $50/hr range as the company needs to reconcile data in order to adhere to SEC GAAP requirements during this public transition Senior Accountant Responsibilities:- Perform calculations on a wide variety of revenue data to adhere to 606 reporting- Assists the Director of Revenue and/or Assistant Controller in data revenue projects- Using MS Excel Macros to find, report, and correct any errors on large data sets- Assists in the setup and/ or maintenance of processes, procedures, and controls that properly capture, track and report financial results Senior Accountant Qualifications:- 5+ years of Accounting experience - Any previous experience regarding SEC regulation work or 606 reporting is a plus! - Advanced MS Excel proficiency including recording Macros- Ability to start ASAP
