responsibilities:
The Sr Accountant will have a wide range of responsibilities including process improvements, financial statement prep & analysis, developing reporting packages, and cost reductions.
- Prepare financial reporting packages
- Review all accounting activities
- Partner with senior management to create and manage costs on new and updated products
- Analyze costs variances, determine cause of fluctuations
- Review inventory controls to maximize efficiencies
- Manage cost roll ups in accounting systems
- Take on special projects and initiatives, lead on system enhancements
- Work with auditors
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or finance
- 4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Prior experience in a product development or manufacturing environment
- Process driven
- Enjoys analytical work
- Strong communication skills are required
- Ability to interact with management at all levels.
