Summary:
The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and screening both active and passive candidates / applicants for a variety of positions throughout the US, including but not limited to, Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, Analysts, Assemblers / Technicians and other modalities across all industries. You will also be responsible for building pipelines of talent, and developing innovative strategies for attracting candidates through networking, cold calling, employee referrals, job boards, social media, internet and creative searches.
Recruiting Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales/Account Managers to discuss job descriptions, understand priority roles, required skills, position profile, and other key factors of open requisitions.
- Utilize job boards, referrals, social media and other resources to identify candidates to call (typical average is 30+ calls per day) for temporary, temporary-to-hire and direct hire positions and assigned requisitions.
- Instruct candidates on the nature of the job and ensure readiness prior to and during the interview process
- Build strong rapport with candidates and manage every stage of the recruiting cycle - including sourcing, qualifying, reviewing / rewriting resumes, driving the interview process, offer negotiation & closing.
- Create and maintain pipelines / availability books of qualified candidates to deliver against immediate priorities, future needs, and business critical positions
- Retrieve information regarding companies currently hiring, other job openings and potential leads / TIPS.
- Weekly contact with candidates / contractors that you are responsible for placing / employing
Experience / Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of proven work experience within an office / desk setting; Bachelor's degree (preferred, not required)
- Must be a US Citizen and able to work in the office daily (NOT REMOTE)
- Must be comfortable multitasking with the ability to handle multiple requisitions within a set timeframe.
- Capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication (oral, written & presentation); must be comfortable talking on the phone, cold-calling and building relationships on a daily basis
- Extreme attention-to-detail and impeccable follow through
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards with a sense of urgency
- Must be internet savvy, familiar with Linked-In and proficient with social media to connect and network with both active and passive candidates / job seekers
- Proven ability to maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities
