Quality Control Technician at Nesco Resource

Our client is stable and growing and looking to add a quality control technician to their team. Candidates should have at least 1 year of pertinent experience to perform non-routine visual, mechanical, functional, dimensional or electrical inspection of a variety of products during assembly through final systems assembly.Hours are 7am to 3:30 pm

  • May work with customer Engineers and suppliers to ensure Quality specifications are met

  • Responsible for the inspection of production and R&D/prototype in-process work orders. Inspect all product and assemblies to customer standards and expectations.

  • Use a wide variety of test instruments and equipment to measure values and record functional operation of components; make recommendations for improving processes




  • Responsible for MRB process which includes holding weekly MRB meetings with the MRB log up-to-date with accurate information




  • Provide continuous feedback to production as to adherence to workmanship standards

  • Responsible for all equipment calibration functions

  • Ensure that all Quality equipment is under calibration control as required

  • Function as the 'gate' for all product leaving the facility rejecting all non-conforming product

  • Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and inspection instructions

  • Use standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gages and test fixtures, etc.

  • Communicate with Engineering on complex Quality issues
