- May work with customer Engineers and suppliers to ensure Quality specifications are met
- Responsible for the inspection of production and R&D/prototype in-process work orders. Inspect all product and assemblies to customer standards and expectations.
- Use a wide variety of test instruments and equipment to measure values and record functional operation of components; make recommendations for improving processes
- Responsible for MRB process which includes holding weekly MRB meetings with the MRB log up-to-date with accurate information
- Provide continuous feedback to production as to adherence to workmanship standards
- Responsible for all equipment calibration functions
- Ensure that all Quality equipment is under calibration control as required
- Function as the 'gate' for all product leaving the facility rejecting all non-conforming product
- Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and inspection instructions
- Use standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gages and test fixtures, etc.
- Communicate with Engineering on complex Quality issues
