Summary
Support Tech Transfer and Technical Support of plasmid production platform. Work within MS&T team and cross functionally to ensure successful cGMP manufacturing of plasmids.

Description
- Lead cGMP technical activities including change management, manufacturing deviation investigation, and continual improvement
- Collaborate with process development on studies to determine main cause of deviations
- Author and execute protocols supporting process characterization and equipment scale up in manufacturing
- Analyze performance of manufacturing by reviewing and analyzing data
- Author manufacturing summary reports and establish/maintain data repositories
- Support Tech Transfer projects including coordination of process information exchange, documentation of tech transfer and tracking process performance
Profile
- B.S in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Biochemistry with 10+ years of Pharma/Biotech experience
- M.S in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Biochemistry with 5+ years in Pharma/Biotech experience
- Experience in Plasmid Process Development or Manufacturing
- Great judgment and ability to communicate manufacturing issues effectively
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working effectively in dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment
- Subject matter expert in bio-processing unit operations, including fermentation, clarification, chromatography, and tangential flow filtration
