About the Opportunity:- Our client located in Fall River, MA is a 16-bed acute in-patient unit and a mental health center. They are currently looking for a dedicated Mental Health Worker to be part of their growing team.- They provide comprehensive services to adults and children- Supervised by the RN and LPN, your role is to assist healthcare professional staff in providing direct care treatment for mentally ill clients
Mental Health Worker Responsibilities:- Provides direct care services daily to include but not limited to taking vital signs, monitoring intake and output as well as assisting clients with feeding and personal hygiene- Ensures the spiritual needs of clients are met by coordinating with senior staff and/or charge nurse- Assist in problem identification, planning, and teaching by reporting pertinent observations to the charge person- Serves as a client advocate, ensures that confidentiality and human rights are maintained
Mental Health Worker Qualifications:- 1+ years of related experience- Mental Health or psychiatric experience is required- Strong therapeutic interpersonal skills There are no costs for candidates utilizing our services as our clients pay for all related hiring fees.
