A global crypto-to-crypto asset exchange that was one of the first to trade cryptocurrencies and digital assets is looking for a F&P Manager to spearhead strategic, cross-functional initiatives that will accelerate the company's growth.
This highly visible and impactful role will oversee all traditional business and finance activities, including accounting, audit, tax, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and planning. Besides overseeing digital assets under administration and liquidity needs, this position is also responsible for cryptocurrency treasury management.
The ideal candidate will have financial and business operations backgrounds, as well as a willingness to learn the intricacies of a complex and evolving industry.
Responsibilities include:
• Manage a small team of accounting and finance professionals, who are responsible for day-to-day financial operations
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results and business performance
• Lead strategic planning processes to align key company initiatives with resource investments
• Analyze, monitor, and report on the financial performance of the organization and provide actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders
• Implement processes, systems, and frameworks that allow a growing company to scale operations
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors, auditors, and legal counsel to navigate and solve unique business problems related to digital asset accounting and reporting
Expectations:
• 10+ years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, and accounting
• Interest in cryptocurrency, financial markets, or blockchain technology preferred
• Experience building and managing complex financial models
• Able to design and execute against large data sets to deliver internal business intelligence
