This is a regional based position and employee must live in the Hartford, CT to Boston, MA to call on customers in the Northeastern U.S. corridor.

Information drives applications. Building Information Modeling (BIM) increases the value of data and supports managing the entire life cycle of door openings within buildings. BIM – and driving the revolution behind it - is what we're all about.
ASSA ABLOY is recognized as an industry-leader in BIM technologies for openings by providing accurate and usable information at every stage of design, specification and construction. We accomplish this through Openings Studio, our award winning BIM software used to create and manage 3D doors, hardware and access control openings.
In this role, you will envision yourself as the "go-to" consultant for our Openings Studio clients. You will have the freedom to build upon and contribute to the successful ASSA ABLOY BIM vision. Your goal will be to drive adoption of Openings Studio so it becomes "business-as-usual" for architects, contractors and facility managers. You will collaborate across the ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions group spreading the story of our innovative and transformational program.

- Defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for your region
- Trusted resource for professional consulting services
- Software application training and support
- In-the-field deployment of the software application

This is a regional based position located in New England
What you will be doing
You will work alongside a nationwide team of consultants who collectively shape and support the market adoption of Openings Studio suite of BIM tools. Your skills will foster meeting our client user's education, implementation, satisfaction, and technical support needs. You will present project proposals for professional services and serve as a point-of-contact supporting the ASSA ABLOY architectural team and their clients. You will manage your success and pioneer new avenues for the Openings Studio Professional Services roadmap.
What we are looking for
You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited for what lies ahead in the design and construction industry. You are detail-oriented, organized, and known for follow-up habits. You're a strong communicator, active listener, and negotiator. You can work independently, but believe in teamwork. Your background includes a College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar). Industry related experience in architecture, specification writing, construction management, or software training would be a plus, as well as working knowledge of Autodesk® Revit® or GRAPHISOFT® Archicad® You have the ability to travel upon request and able to perform responsibilities both in a home office environment or in-the-field at a construction site or building facility.
